The table and field setup system you have is extremely good. About the only thing missing is the ability to export a database modelling diagram with entity relationship links. I use screen shots to help in this regard... but not ideal.

Hi Gordon
Our lead developer uses mysql workbench for this purpose. Once you have created your component you just have to import the database and it will make a very nice graph. Please check if it suits your needs.
Of course, if you still think it's a nice feature for the component creator I will move this thread to the feature request subforum.

Yes, after the post yesterday I revisited what was available, and was going to share my enlightened find, and guess what, I was beaten to the punch. Only issue with workbench is, after reverse engineering the SQL, you have to do all the relationship linking manually. But hey, better than a poke in the eye with a blunt stick.
