Sort order for Foreign Key

I would like to request to have the possibility to set a sort order when using Foreign Key fields.

Currently, despite the option to 'search' in the selection field on the frontend,< this kind of field is rather unhandy to use when dealing with larger sets of data. To be able to set the sort order would greatly enhance the ease of use in the frontend.

It would already make a big difference if the default sort order would not be no sort order but an alphabetical sort order.
