Calendar Question was created by Nancy Anderson
Hi,
I have several date fields in my component. I am using the "Calendar (Date selector)" field type, which works well, but is defaulting to 1970-01-01.
I tried to attach a couple of screen shots, one showing the field in my Joomla site and one showing my settings in Component Creator.
However, I am not sure they were successfully uploaded so here is a link: plus.google.com/116493722428410309222/posts/4BC2BA95FkN
Hopefully you can assist me in getting the calendar to default to null. It is okay if the database saves 0000-00-00, but right now if I edit a page with this calendar it actually saves 1970-01-01 even though the user didn't actually enter a date.
Thanks

Hi Nancy
This issue has been solved, it was the way Joomla handled calendars. We have adapted our code and now you just need to rebuild your component and it will work.
Regards,
Andrés
