Save failed with error: filetype is not allowed

Hi,

i created a component with a file field. I have added the code so that to upload the file and it uploads the file to the directory that i want.
But when i add a new record and click save, although it uploads the file i get the following error:
Save failed with the following error: This filetype is not allowed

Any suggestions?

Try adding MIME types allowed as below

MIME types allowed: image/jpeg,image/png,image/gif

Or other MIME Type as needed. You may find a list of MIME types here www.freeformatter.com/mime-types-list.html#mime-types-list or www.feedforall.com/mime-types.htm
