Different Views of One Table was created by Jege
Hello,
I am quite new in joomla. I use a component creator just for 3 days and I couldn't manage to do the following:
There is one table - for ex. visitor_entries
1. one user enters surname of a visitor and department name where the visitor should come
2. another user (responsible for visitor entry permissions) looks at this, selects and enters some additional information about the visitor, but this user isn't allowed to change the data entered by the previous user.
3. third user enters the status change in the table when the visit is finished
4. if the visitor hasn't come, the first or second user is allowed to cancel the visit by entering the status change in the table
So, I have actually one table with 4 different views and controls.
Can you give me the hint how to do it?
I have searched through the source files, but I couldn't find any "update" or "insert" command generated through php or xml
