is there a way to use a table as a reference to a foreign key different from "component tables" built with "Component creator" or "Joomla core tables"?

Hi there
Do you mean to link to an external component? It's not feasible with Component Creator but probably you could get inspired by the code generated when linking to a Joomla core table.
